There is something called a butterfly effect, and that moment for me was when I got the opportunity to work at Technicolor Games.
How did your career begin?
I started my career as an Animator in 2014, I had the opportunity to work on various TV series, movies and pilot projects doing cartoony and semi-realistic animations with studios in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. Here I got to learn and gather a lot of valuable experience to take forward with me. I then moved to the Gaming industry due to my interest in games and realistic movements.
What is your most memorable moment/project working at Technicolor Games?
My first project is still ongoing and not yet released. But I can say that it is an AAA game and I was very excited to work on it.
I enjoyed and appreciated the guidance and support that was given to me in my first days, everyone was friendly and the environment was easy to adapt into. I know this will always be a memorable project for me.
What is it like working at Technicolor Games?
There is always a great variety of projects going on at Technicolor Games. It is a team of smart, positive and supportive people with a great work environment. I am happy to be part of this organization.
I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the great artists in the industry and work on a variety of prestigious projects. I feel like I have not done my best work yet, the journey has just begun.
What are you excited about for the future?
I always want to be involved in the variety of prestigious titles we are exposed to at Technicolor Games. I enjoy learning more techniques and new processes that will be beneficial to the team.
What advice could you give to someone wanting to join the industry?
Build a good quality portfolio and a lot of connections. Keep yourself up to date in the industry by learning new game engines, techniques and skills. And most importantly, keep calm and take care of your health.
