“Always trust computer games. A game is an opportunity to focus our energy, with relentless optimism, at something we’re good at (or getting better at) and enjoy. In other words, gameplay is the direct emotional opposite of depression.”
How did your career begin?
I began my journey by following my passion. I pursued an M.SC in Software Science and followed my love and passion towards games ending up in the gaming industry.
I started out in a small studio working on movies over the course of a year. It was from here I realised the game industry was where I needed to be, which led me to studying a diploma in Game Art.
Then in 2017 I joined Technicolor and got the opportunity to work on various projects in EA, The Walking Dead, and Star Wars along with a few animation series. I have since climbed the ladder to Senior Artist at Technicolor with a passion for video games.
What is your most memorable moment/project working at Technicolor Games?
Working with the FIFA team has been my best in Technicolor. With lots of challenges along the way but loads of fun, the days would fly by!!
What is it like working at Technicolor Games?
The freedom to work and the gates to learning as much as we want is why I do not want to step my foot out of here. It’s always been like a family working with great people with different skills and gathering so much knowledge.
What advice could you give to someone wanting to join the industry
It’s important to have a genuine passion for games. The industry can be challenging, but having a love for games can help you stay motivated and focused on your goals
What are you excited about in the future?
THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
