How did your career begin?
My career began straight after high school, I’d always dreamt of working in movies or games. I initially stepped into animation and VFX. At first, I was confused about what should I do and what part of the industry I should join, this was when one of my mentors introduced me to digital sculpting, as drawing and sketching were something I enjoyed and excelled at. Since that day I never looked back and I’m always looking forward to opportunities and learning that come my way.
What is your most memorable project working at Technicolor Games?
My very first project was working on some VR characters, it’s memorable as it taught me to work under pressure, on something new to me but always with quality output. I learnt many new technical skills that I hadn’t had experience with before and I’m grateful to always be learning.
What is it like working at Technicolor Games?
At Technicolor Games there are lots of great projects to work on. The whole environment is cheerful and inspiring. Seniors, colleagues, management, everyone loves to work with each other and the whole culture is very supportive. Everybody helps each other to grow. For me, it’s been the best place for a fresher to start a career.
What are you excited about for the future?
I am excited about the quality of new techniques evolving day by day. I can’t wait to be a part of some more exciting and creative projects. It is always a joy to see projects we have worked on launch into the world!
What advice could you give to someone wanting to join the industry?
Skills and consistency are important things in this industry. Traditional art knowledge is a plus point, it helps to understand things. Above all, passion should be always there for art.
